The foundation of G&E Tile by Elias (Louie) Kouvelas (George’s eldest son) proved to be a gradual learning process, which in turn led the family to success. With hard work and determination, the business has effectively grown into a team of 15 professionals with the ability to handle large or multiple projects simultaneously. Louie has taken a personal leadership role in developing all new trained professionals of G&E – sometimes being seen as meticulous to the point of perfection. This remains one of the main reasons G&E has steadily grown from word of mouth referrals and satisfied clients over the years. Louie began laboring on his own, and over time realized the full potential of his business. More importantly, he understood the relationship between customer service, attention to detail, and applied these fundamentals to his work. Soon after, he solicited the help of his younger brother Steve. Through time and perseverance Louie and Steve have developed G&E Tile into the well established firm it is today. Steve’s background was always in construction having apprenticed with his father for years….
